Affectionately known as 'the big one' in our shop the Ellipse sofa from Content by Conran is their biggest and squidgiest (yes I know thats not really a word)  to date.  This is big and deep, when you need to curl up it is a friend indeed.  Unusually the sofa tapers in  so it is about 30cms narrower at the back than the front  The Ellipse comes in two sizes and a chair and is available in loose cover or fixed and works best in plain colours or leather.  The long back cushions shown are included.  If you want extra scatters call and talk to our design department for advice and samples.  We have great discounts on Conran Sofas including the Ellipse on our web site.

We have some very special offers on at the moment.  Content by Conran furniture has always been popular both in our shop and on the web and the 59th Street is one of the best selling pieces.  I think of all the range of sofas the 59th Street is the most iconic and defines Sir Terence Conran's style.  It amazes me to think that Sir Terence has been at the cutting edge of furniture design for over 50 years and that his work is as relevant now as it was when he created Habitat.   The 59th Street sofa was named after the address of his showroom in Manhattan.  The rumor is that having created the design on the back of a napkin in a New York restaurant Sir Terence was unable to think of a name for the design.  The waiter was called for help and immediately suggested the address of the showroom.  Apocryphal as the story may be I love it and I love this sofa.
