Yes winter is finally upon us and as you may know interior trends are highly influenced by the seasons (and change as quickly as they do!). If your as keen as i am with keeping up to date with the latest styles then this season is a fantastic chance to update your look. This winters trends are much bolder and brighter, think natural colours mixed with festive reds and bold blocks of colour against stark contrasting whites. I was very excited to meet local artist Jo Ludbrook recently.  Since moving to Norfolk from Australia Jo has been building on her success 'down there' to gain an enviable reputation here for beautiful and unique cushions.  The designs are very exoctic and often use silks and trimming detail to build layers of colour and texture.  I have them in my shop on display and now available on the site.  Using these cushions to add a jewel like sparkle to a modern design or to build up Moorish rich luxurious interiors.  All these cushions are one off designs hand made by Jo. We at Interior Selection are pleased to announce the return of the iconic 'Glove' chair by Content by Conran.

Originally released in 2003 with huge publicity and interest , the Glove chair has claimed its place as a design classic due to its recent come back this year. It's relaunch was requested by the public and by Terence Conran himself who regards the Glove as his biggest achievement!

The new Glove chair stays true to its original design, and now available as a stunning monochromatic white gloss shell and black leather upholstery. My belief is to invest in good design and select one off design pieces  you cannot live without, the Glove chair is of no exception, a true conversation piece and my favourite product so far this year!

As if there were not enough choice the new fabric and wallpaper collections are to be launched at the end of this month.  The most important UK show in most Interior Designers diary is 'FOCUS' at Chelsea harbour.  Public day is on Wednesday 24th of September. 

I am expecting to see lots of wild wallpapers like the new design from Osborne & Little shown here and a revival of floral chintz as well as plaid fabrics.  I will post a review after the show and we can supply fabrics and wallpapers to you direct.  just call our design team.  01603 633699 

I have had a lot of success using the designers Guild collections of fabrics and wallpapers.  The new rugs are beautiful and we are now including them on our site. After a walk on the Brighton beach with the family (and some chips) we arrived to Join the ITV crew filming 60 minute makeover. Interior Selection had been invited to contribute and come along to see the filming. What struck me immediately was the the energy and team spirit of the crew.  It takes a day to setup and film but they are genuinely only working inside for an hour. We delivered a range of Conran furniture including the Russell Pinch sideboard shown with Derek Taylor the shows designer.  For some reason there is a Conran coffee table on top of the sideboard! The scheme was a great success and thethe jobs a good 'un!  The show will be on air soon, I will post the date when I know it.

As an Interior designer I have spent an enormous amount of time working with clients to achieve modern harmonious and balanced design schemes striving to create homes that look great and serve their purpose.

In 2000 I opened a showroom in Norwich to display my favorite selections of furniture, lighting and textiles. All the pieces in the range have been tried and tested in real homes by real people and I have been proud of the results. These selections are here because I know they work.

My collection is unashamedly modern but not gimmicky. It is my intention that all these objects last the test of time and become favourite pieces in your home.

The showroom is open to all and our interior design team are always ready with advice and help. We will help you source fabrics for furniture or other soft furnishings and can even recommend paint colours and wallpapers providing an efficient sampling service. Advice is free, it helps us to provide you with a better service so it makes sense all round. I aim to provide great products at great prices with hassle free support backed up with a very personal service.
